Child Friendly DDA Kiosk
The Child Friendly DDA Kiosk has been designed to be at the optimal height for standing or seated/wheelchair access and can be bolted to the floor or wall for security. This kiosk is used by the Scout Association, National Trust, the Douglas Bader Limbless Association and Rotherham & South Gloucester Children's Services. It is currently being rolled out to Children's Centres and Schools throughout Surrey to provide parental information services. Its key features are:
- a streamlined and dynamic shape which has a small footprint with rounded edges to make it safe and child friendly
- a wide viewing angle 19” ELO touch screen with 6mm tempered glass which is designed to take casual impact
- a keyboard with backlit roller ball. so that it can be easily used, even in darker environments
- a state of the art kiosk computer with secured flash drive to ensure years of safe and uncorrupted use
- uses XP embedded, tailor built to your specifications to allow fast and effective use of the internet
- secured by the full bundle of Sitekiosk (which offers network/pc security, content filtering, screensavers and configurable menu systems)
- we even include a full online monitoring package (network restrictions may apply), to access the kiosk online and view statistics
- The kiosk is also supported by a full range of inclusive services from Scream include the design of the kiosk livery, portal page systems, delivery and installation (including securing the kiosk to the wall or floor) and 12 months support.
