To coincide with the new financial year of 2006/07 scream.co.uk ltd have the pleasure to announce a brand new kiosk to compliment its portfolio of products. The kiosk is highly portable for exhibitions or roving displays, yet solid enough to take everyday use on top of a standard desk.
The design of the kiosk is based upon our easy access range of kiosks. It follows a similar uncompromising design for disability access and is built out of mild steel to make it robust to both the strain of travelling and so that it can be used in a fixed location. The cabinet includes a venting system to keep the unit cool whilst also incorporating security holes to allow the unit to be bolted to the desk/table surface.
The unit incorporates a high definition 17" ELO touch screen that allows the screen to be touch responsive to gloves and disability pointing devices and is designed to be accessible to wheelchair , sitting and standing access. The unit includes an integrated robust steel backed keyboard with trackball as part of its design. The kiosk is operated from a powerful Celeron D 3.06 GHz with 512mb Kingston DDR 400 DIMM and a 40GB Seagate 7200rpm HDD. To maximise the use of the kiosk for offline use and exhibitions we also include a Slim lime CD RW / DVD combi Optical drive. We include windows XP home (with the latest updates) and sitekiosk full bundle which allows system security and monitoring. The kiosk is earthed and surge protected for complete security and we also include a robust wooden travel box to make the unit even more portable.
The kiosk can also be used to run with a series of additional hardware including wireless network connections, wireless printers, plasma and other secondary screens and even an integrated VOIP phone.
The kiosk includes livery on the front of the kiosk and we can powder coat the kiosk in your choice from our extensive color range. We can also assist you with the design of the portal page to ensure that you have a complete product which can be used straight from the box.
