The Gadget DDA Kiosk
This DDA complient Gadget Kiosk is a new design for Spring 2010. Its purpose is to be fully modifiable AFTER delivery and installation so that it fully meets your developing needs and requirements over time. The basic model includes a 19” touch screen and our new Gadget Body Cabinet which allows parts, or gadgets, to be interchangeable. The gadgets include:
· KEYBOARDS: Mounted on a range of angles to suit a variety of users including children or standing adults, using up to 4 different styles of keyboard including backlit, stainless steel or rubber keyed units.
· SCREENS: Although the unit comes with a 19” unit the Gadget Kiosk can accommodate sizes from 17” to 26” touch (and none touch screens).
· ACCESSORIES: The main panel can be quickly reworked or changed to include thermal printers (both A4 and receipt), coin operators, note validators, scanners, biometric readers, proximity readers, barcode readers and chip n pin readers.
· LIVERY: The kiosks can be provided in two tone colors and the front panels can be changed to include new colors to the unit as your house style changes, or you can update the signage in location!
The Gadget Kiosk is run by a tiny but powerful thin client pc which runs off a flash driven card and can be used for all internet and intranet requirements. The kiosk can reboot if there are power shortages and is entirely self managing including switching itself on and off at required times. It can also download updates and new information content at night and will provide reports and statistics on a minute by minute basis if required.
